Out of the mind’s cocoon to vastness, to beauty dancing in every detail, in every tiny fragment of every life form: this is the ineluctable path taken by Cristian Mazzon’s paintings. The most varied subjects are chosen, composed and blended together: flowers, vases, animals, water, skies or city landscapes (Treviso or Venice, the most contemplative city in the world) or astonishing portraits, but they are all keys, riddles or synapses of the Reality of Reality. Sipped with the urgency of a woman giving birth and the ineffable clarity of a sage.
I world dare to say that in Krisma’s work there is a symbiosis with forms, perceived through an infinite, contemplative and spiritual love, in an act of looking that is overwhelming. The same attention is given to preparing colors on his own and to preparing the canvases using traditional techniques, revealing how the pictorial event is sacred, sacred as the wait for a seed to flower, sacred as the act of hunting for the aborigines, sacred as nature’s signs for American Indians. And along this pilgrimage toward the mystery of art, a path that caught Caravaggio, it all occurs in flashes, painting as a Vision that extol to the infinite: not simply brush strokes, but rather grandes jetés, suspended in the dance of time, caught by the eternally present and Undefinable glance that overhangs consciousness. Contemplation of beauty allows the artists to abandon the worn out apron of personality, to became clear and ultimately disappear on the friendly canvas, the maieutical projection of the reality of reality.
Two mirrors in one: one being existence and the other being the awareness in doing, free from an intellectual I, therefore born again from the spring of the heart, in the form of the colors of the painting. And now, there, saturated with life.
